A scene from the Godfather comes to mind, "You could act like a man........" There are lots of soldiers coming back who have REAL PTSD.

A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man. That's what Vito Corleone says and I'm not EVEN gonna question that. As for this ref, maybe he should call Phil Luckett to try and learn how to deal with this. That ref wasn't even a real ref anyway. He was just a replacement. I'm sure people recognize him constantly as the guy that blew that call. Yeah. Right. Just another ambulance chaser trying to game the system.

My second favorite movie of all time. Only Citizen Kane surpasses it for me but it's not even by much. Also I've read the book and it rules as well. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of the series. Part 3 is a disgrace btw. LOL. I just had to get that in there.

Well, since PTSD is not just limited to stress or trauma from a direct event......

I'm of the mind that sometimes people need to get over it and move on. The fact that PTSD sufferers receive a higher disability than multiple amputees pisses me off even more though.

I saw this thing where President Bush was working with some soldiers that apparently have it and he was saying that one of the misunderstandings surrounding it is the fact that it's really not a "disorder" but something that can be reversed. Is that true? I always hear it called a "disorder" which would suggest to me that it's ongoing ya know? If it really is a true disorder though I'm sure it's not just something that recently started. Think of the atrocities the WW2 guys witnessed. I love all our vets but man those WW2 guys have a special place in my heart.
