On one of my guitars, I took my 4th spring off of my floyd years ago when I was a young teenager after reading that Eddie did that, and moved one of the others diagonally. It's still that way to this day.

Thanks! It was a really fun project. And I'm not even technically a guitarist. Did my whole basement bathroom in the VH theme. Red, white and black stripes and all. I also painted my old boat with that theme but used grey, black and white. Turned out pretty cool.

My wife did a painting for me using the Frankenstrat colors/pattern. I have it hanging above my guitars. I'll have to take a picture and post it when I get home.

The best tremolo I've ever used are on My Steinberger Guitars....plus You could lock the tremolo at any time with a switch it had on them, and make it a hard tail/set bridge. Only bad thing about the Steinbergers is they don't have a nut , but use a Zero fret(which is easier for keeping in real tune),and I kept wearing My Zero nut out on both My Steinbergers, and had them both replaced .....once on one, twice on the other.

Nice, I always wanted a Steinberger. Loved the headless one.

I had both the box looking one(as in My Avatar), and a Strat looking one, and both are headless.

More accurately Transylvania, grandparents resided about 1 hour (as the bat flies) west of Vlad Dracula's Castle. I avoid garlic and wolfsbane like the plague. :zombie:

Was that a kahler trem? I used floyds for years and ifya set the bridge against the body it wont go outta tune, but ifya float the bridge in middle, so you can pull back on tremelo then yea the tension changes, i modded a strat with D-tuna n was real cool.on stage tho, we used 4 tunings,A,B,C,D, D was standard n dropped to C n another guit for the A, B stuff, i.e korn , Snotlip etc

No it is a Floyd. I had it floating....so I could dive, or pull up.
I still have it ,but only use a fix bridge now anyway.
