I'm sure there are other names out there as well that aren't discussed here. Anyone have someone else who might be an option? JaCorey Shepherd from Philly? It looks like only one of him or Rowe will make the roster right now.

Golson's replacement may already be on the roster. Montell Garner has been alternating with Davis as the first team slot corner.

If the thought of 3 300+lb men is sexually desirable, then it would in fact be fluff able hahahahaha

Still can't wrap my head around the whole Boykin thing while a scrub like Blake stayed on the field.

I feel they won't trade for a CB, just wait for the cuts and add.

Davis will be a two time player slot and safety. Wherever they need him.

Burns is behind the learning curve but if he stays healthy he will be part of the rotation.

The secondary can't catch a break. The Golson injury and the niked up Burns has put a cog in the wheel. Again.

Doran Grant looks to be seizing the opportunity and should be part of the rotation. Plus giving him safety reps.

I meant imploded as in he had a degenerative hip condition, and now out for the season with a torn pec. Meaning, injuries did him in.

No we pulled a fast one on ourselves. Boykin was not being played in Philly.

He is not half the ball player LJ Fort is. LJ Fort make Lawerence Timmons expendable.

Nor should he. His football IQ is quite impressive and is his decision making. Granted, he does not have the desired straight line speed.. but his play speed is sufficent enough.

Hone his awareness and instincts.. and intangibles like speed become little to no use.

I concur (although minus the vulgarity of the "S" acroynm). Timmons may not be the linebacker he was (having a turf toe never helps), but he is still a technically sound athlete. He still has athletic ability... just not at the level if Ryan Shazier. Granted... now that Shazier is more knowledgeable of tackling angles and technique.. he does not need to be.

However.. when Pittsburgh does move on from Timmons.. I wonder if they will spend an early round pick on an ILB (Zach Cunningham would not be a bad choice at the moment) or trust Dirty Red.
