Elway and "The Drive"

Someone had a post on FB about Elway and the Broncos 98yd game tying drive in the playoffs against Cleveland in 1987. It had been a long time since I've seen that and it definitely brought back some memories. Not a Steelers memory, but as a long time hater of the Browns, I loved it. I was 15 at the time.

Funny how Elway's jersey was a complete mess and Kosar's was crystal white. Weird what you notice now. And Denver got the ball after that Special Teams gaffe with between 4 and 5 minutes to go. Seems like forever in today's NFL. Anyway it was cool to see again.

Although I admit, growing up outside Cleveland, Minnifield and Dixon were the reason I played corner in middle school, high school and college (although I went to OLB my last 2 yrs in college). Always a Steeler fan but had to admire those two. Plus it was all I could watch on TV back then since it was local.
