Ed Reed fined $55,000, no suspension for hit on Cruz

    Yes, Harrison's fine would have been higher and he would have been suspended because he was already suspended for illegal hits.

    OK, let's get this straight...another Personal Foul that they decide he needs a fine for, but no suspension?

    I guess Mr. Harrison was right about him being a target?

    Please note I didn't think his hit on Cruz was particularly bad. Yes he wanted to put a lick on him, but he did pull up at the end which caused him to hit his helmet.

    So, he gets issued a suspension last month for a similar hit (which gets reduced to a 50K fine), but gets a similar fine for this hit? I thought the NFL based discipline on prior violations. :scratch:

    Goodell has never been consistent with his punishments so why would he start now?

    But if he made the fines/suspensions consistent, he would be inconsistent with the fines/suspensions.
