Dumbest referee ever

Trying to get Mike Evan’s Autograph after the game. The dude should be fired. Also shows how much bias these refs have for certain players (Tom Brady). The NFL should have already fired this guy. The punishment and how fast it happens will be interesting

That would be like saying when I fought....I couldn't be friends with the Guy I fought. No....on the field (ring) You do Your job, and after it's over....it's over.

The league wants to keep the integrity of the game. Even if he is capable of the separation it is not a good look. The referees have helped Tom Brady his entire career. I would argue human nature makes that very difficult.

 

I honestly can see Your side of the situation, but I think a professional can do their Job on the field, and Be a fan off....Hell it might be for His kid. Like I said ....I do see Your point of view.

 

If they don’t fire him or suspend him then I might as well be watching Hulk Hogan wrestle Andrew the Giant.

 

Based on Tom Brady’s career it is clearly not true. However I also believe the referees are responsible for turning Brady into a 7 time champion. At most he should have 3 or 4. I also think he was using performance enhancing drugs to play this long.

 

The agreement between the NFL and the refs union/association bans refs from getting autographs or memorabilia. If a ref want stuff for a charity event or something they have to request it thru the league. So even if they can separate their professional from their personal, they’re not allowed to. So if the ref was really mooching an autograph, he will be disciplined per the agreement that he signed.

 

Turns out it wasn't an autograph , but a phone number for golf lessons.

I actually don't either because even if he didn't ask for an autograph, he clearly likes him as a player so what's to say that didn't affect the way he called the game? I am not saying it did and I LOVE me some Mike Evans- but the autograph after the game is really a moot point to me.
