i have a similar take as well...ben was a bit off on some throws, the recievers dropped some very catchable balls, and the defense had a couple brain farts, along with that special teams woopsie....and with all that, we still won. that being said, i feel the loss of dupree is going to be harder to overcome than some of these other flaws. if the offense had been clicking, that would have been a 30 point win

Getting past the Bills is the only hurdle I see.

Yeah, that was a rough day. Thanks for making me relive the embarrassment.

Washington is a real threat. The Football Team has a very good pass rush. The problem early on was quarterback play was killing them. Smith has fixed that problem. They have a good running back and a big-play receiver. They are also catching the Steelers very short-handed and trying to adjust to the loss of Dupree.

We don't know what this defense will look like without Dupree yet. So much of what they do is based on having a dominant pass rush. Dupree can be inconsistent, but he's still a freakish talent, one they will miss quite a bit. Hopefully, at least Tuitt can return for Monday's game.

I know the Steelers crushed the Browns the first time around, but Cleveland was missing its top interior lineman and Chubb for that game. Also, the Steelers' run defense was dominant through that game, not even close to that level since.

The Steelers certainly can finish the regular season undefeated, but aside from the Bengals, there isn't an easy game left on the schedule.

Weren’t getting any love on GMFB today either except for Kyle Brandt, he thinks they are going to the SB, the other two guys cut them up and saying the defense isn’t as good as people think.

Yeah, keep spewing that while they just keep winning all the way to the SB. Next up is Washington, their biggest strength is their pass rush, Ben will neutralize that with quick passes, he’s getting rid of it faster than any QB this year and the defense even without Bud will handle WFT’s offense.

On that note, his touch passes are incredible.....the one to Washington in the closing minutes of the game was unreal. I thought for sure he threw up a duck, and then saw the replay....he put the ball exactly where it needed to be ..any higher, or shorter is a pick

Or the formations & play calling. Current Steelers don't have any interest in running the ball.

Ravens were selling out to stop the run.

Idk. If they were, where was the play action off the fake to Snell? Where's the fullback to bring a safety closer to the line of scrimmage?
Ben might be the most pass happy yinzer I've ever seen. Not only does he like throwing all over the yard, he likes throwing over the top. Our formations & personnel is catered to helping him read then destroy a defense. Thankfully it works most of the time. Just hope his off day isn't in the playoffs because we won't have running the ball down enough to help him out.

I thought Heinz was being sarcastic with that one.

Best part of being 11-0 is the opportunity to go 12-0

Winning gets you there, not what any sports media types have to say.

Some teams have moral victories, in Pittsburgh we call them losses. Say what you want about the wins, but so far we haven't had any moral victories.
