Passing game coordinator
That’s right, it was the Ratturds. Thanks for the reminder.
For those of you worried he wouldn't get another chance.
Did people really think he’d be out of football? Rudolph will be out of the NFL before Dobbs is and wouldn’t surprise me if he is back on the Steelers next year backing up Pickett.
That would mean his current team gives up on him. That part, I can believe.
I wonder if Josh has any coaching aspirations? If he does, I hope the Steelers would be knocking
on his door.
That’s good. Hate to see him in that weekly TV map thread complaining about not being able to see the game.
You act like backup QBs don’t get released. Most of them do and play for several different teams during the course of their careers.
If for no reason other than to help Pickett like he did Ben
And he will be cheaper than keeping Mason
Unless we draft another QB in the 7th round
Working out w Broncos was the latest
Oh, they do. He is fine as a backup quarterback as long as the team wants someone who can't threaten the starter and shouldn't ever be counted on for more than mop-up duty.
Probably partial to jet sweeps
Wait… is Canada an aeronautical engineer too?
I dont care that you say Dobbs sucks.
I wouldn't be so sure. I seen Tomlin talking to Mason a few times during the game.....going over something.
That is the job of the number 3 QB and today that’s Mason
Last few years it was Dobbs
Agreed, but it's Mason now, and I would almost bet You if unforseen injuries don't happen....Trubisky will be gone, and Mason will be number 2 next year.
If Mason returns to the Steelers next yr, he’d be a much bigger dope than the last time he signed an extension. Unless, he’s got a thing for this organization craping on him.
Why??? Every team needs a backup. You can play in the NFL a long long time as a great get along with the guys, and smart backup....and only just one play away from starting.
Yup, you’re right. And if I’m Mason I’ll hold a clipboard for any other organization, before I let the Steelers jerk me around again. And here he’s not one play away from starting, he’s two plays on those rare occasions that he’s active on game day.
I mean You are totally correct.....I mean why stay with the organization that gave You your chance, and has already signed You once again???
Then why do I hear a heavy-set women tuning up her pipes for a songfest? JMO>
Absolutely, Id show loyalty to a team that pumped sunshine up my butt about how I was the steal of the draft and had a 1st rd grade, then yanked me for Duck the first chance it got, than extended a 39 yr old relic rather than let me start, then signed a unremarkable FA QB at 3x my pay once the old dog left, and than drafted a local darling boy in the 1st round, and then finally wasted draft capital on 7th round schmoe QB in 7th round to compete with me But I’m an extremely loyal guy.
Honestly, the North Koreans could hardly have treated Mason worse.
They never yanked Him for Duck. He got injured, and the 2nd time was because they didn't think He was back all the way. They also reinstalled Him, kept Him, let duck go, and signed Him.
