If the goal is to get a top 10 pick in the next draft, then I'd say yes.

I don't have the answer, which is why I said "if there was a better running game." There isn't and I don't know, but I still believe that's hurting things a lot.

Honestly no. But I also wanna see what Mason can do with a full offseason of prep and a coach that knows what he’s doing. I firmly believe Fitchner severely hindered Masons progress.

Right, when a qb has to throw 40-50 times a game, u should expect a interception or 2 ocasionally , I didnt see anyone bitching abt Ben when were winning ... but soon as we start lose'ing everything is his fault

Ben is done, he is only going to get more physical issues. Just prepare yourselves Steeler nation to have a few lean years ahead. How long do you think it will take Tomlin to put his influence on his new coaches so when the first game comes along we will see the same things we saw this year. I think Art 11 must live under a rock.

At least we will set a new NFL record for the first team to be completely defeated and make the playoffs.

The Steelers have ignored the QB position for so long that Ben at about 85% still gives us our best chance to win at this time.

    I voted NO.

Big Ben has been a luxury for many years and has brought all us fans some darn good years. A huge thanks for all that he has done.

Time for family. Walk away with a winning season. Don’t go out with a losing season and getting benched, which I could see happening next year.

When BB leaves, MT will soon follow. Time to inject some new energy into this franchise. We have become complacent and stale.

You Tomlin haters are hilarious, the team turned the ball over 5 times and you blame the coach because they lost .

If his marked drop off in play was NOT injury related, nope. He's was too limited at the end of the season.

Ben’s knees aren’t getting any better. He’s not going to be able to scramble, QB sneak, run bootleg plays, run Play Action.
I don’t care if he falls in love with Matt Canada and gets married to him. He can’t do the things needed to be a championship caliber player anymore.

FFS im starting to believe your related to Tomlin,, as much as you go out of your way to take up for him, ....Even Heywrd said this team wasnt ready for the playoffs, ..Let me guess thats not Tomlins fault either right ??

I agree Ben is done, but this notion that we are guaranteed to have a few lean years is not a given.

You're not able to make the connection between the game plan and the turnovers?

Another thing, if Ben comes back you tell him he practices every Wednesday, like Tom Brady does. No more vets days off.

You're not able to get over the fact they can't run the ball even if they wanted to, Faneca and Bettis isn't walking through that door .
