Do the Steelers tip their hand too much in the draft.

I personally feel like the Steelers front office has too many leaks when it comes to first round picks. I don’t feel like the other teams leak as much information. When you are playing poker and you have a great hand you want tons of money in the pot and bet accordingly.

It doesn't matter if you tip your hand when you're not smart enough to pick properly.

Probably ,they Loved Harris as this was the best trade back spot they could have been in.. I had 3 RB'S ranked in the top 20...a top 20 LB still on the board in Owusu-Koramoah,Trevon Moehrig a true Safety, and Elijah Moore a elte slot WR that can also run the ball pretty well..

So by my board 6 solid picks all more valuable than pick 24 plus the other 7 guys picked after us as Etienne was the only 1 of my list taken after us .. Could have easily traded out to the beginning of round #2 and got a great player...

You guys know someone has to offer to trade with you, and offer something of value, don't you? You don't make calls to trade out of a position, you have to wait for people to call. And for all of you who complain about the Steelers running up with their picks, took almost 7 minutes yesterday (4 1/2 more than the Patriots) before their pick was in.

No. Do some fans think they know more than the team knows? Answer is yes.

Are you spending as much time scrutinizing the other 31 teams in the league as much as the Steelers?
    I suspect not.
If you only catch soundbites and short blurbs, of course it seems like other teams don't reveal as much as the team you are actively paying attention to.

I don’t think so. For who? The players that went after us doesn’t make me think that was the case. And I doubt anyone was trading up for a RB.

In all seriousness, why are you sure?
(Maybe you can mention a particular team that urgently wanted the 24 pick.)

You want the Steelers to move back because there would still be a lot of value in picks after 24.
But that is true for the other teams as well.
Why would they give up valuable resources to move to 24, when they can wait for a decent pick to fall into their laps?

He was also sure, even guaranteed it that Isaac Redman would have a 5.0 rushing average. Eli Rogers was going to be our top slot receiver for the next 10 years. Darius Hayward bay was the key to success for our offense so much so that he should be moved to single high safety. I could post more examples, but I don’t want the poor guy to be too depressed and have a bad weekend.

He never does. Colbert does. And if someone wanted to call he would answer.

Well Rooney said no way they was going to trade so I am sure KC didn't answer or he was instructed to say no..

Because of Harris and Etienne .. A lot of Teams linked to liking them and when 1 went the other went right behind him..I am sure someone will leak that KC turned down offers..

In this case I think they would .. Plus Teams with lots of picks and little money and add in a weak overall draft as more than usual of the top 100 players returned to school.. This draft very different than most by the 4th round it will be mostly D2 and 3 players ..

I read this in the other thread as well. I don't think there are any leaks at all coming out of the Steelers organization. I think that fans make a lot of assumptions based on what they believe is correct. Reality and what fans believe is often very different. This leak thing is silly IMO.

Voices, I think he hears voices.

Colbert though did say that they had 8 players that if any were available he would not move back. But not AR2.
