Do the Rooney’s attend the home games

This. I often wonder how many here actually watch the games. My theory is they just watch highlights and then form an opinion. You ever read the weekly Steelers tv coverage thread? Lot of people complaining that they don’t get the game in that thread.

 

I hear Rooney's go dahn tahn instead of going to the game.

 

That would never happen. I wouldn’t make it out of the tailgate with someone who complains that much.

guy kept me swilled prior to the natti game. Hope to repay the hospitality some day. No beer needed in all honesty... we just had a damn good hang prior to an embarrassing loss hahahahaha but it counted or mattered as it is. Hope we can all cross paths homeside someday

Hope everything is all right. It’s only 2-1/2 hour drive for me. Have a group of friends that are Chiefs fans that we’ll be tailgating with.

 

Thank you! God damn that's a pet peeve of mine. The internet has killed all ability to spell properly. Do people not realize that poor grammar/punctuation can completely change the meaning of a sentence.

Anyway, the Rooney's know exactly what they're getting for their money. They don't need to attend the games to figure it out.

We brought 5-15 packs home with us. Didn’t last long.

 

That is mostly because the Rooney's have always preferred to allow the team to be the center of attention. Unlike Robert Kraft, and Jerry Jones, the Rooney's have generally shunned the spotlight.

One of my fondest memories was watching a roomful of adults tear up when Pete Rozelle handed The Chief his first Lombardi. That man was worshipped by his players because he was a working class guy and he genuinely liked people. Those 70's teams would have tried to run through granite walls for the old man. That was a tangent, I know. But it underscores how owners like the Rooney's and the Mara family that owns the Giants refuse to make their teams about themselves.

 

Some year I hope to join you. This year I was within a few hundred yards of you but had a family commitment. Wandering off has gotten me in trouble previously.
