He is an arrogant jackass who has no idea how to treat people. (Read some of the stuff about how he treated people working for him.) That doesn't mean he is wrong in that article.

I think it’s obvious that Harris is one of Tomlin’s pets and that’s another major flaw that Tomlin seems to have. He has an issue with objectivity and often plays favorites based on comfort level and personal feelings toward both players and coaches. In the NFL (and professional sports in general), you cannot allow personal feelings to override your ability to think objectively. It’s unequivocally a performance based profession. Tomlin has done that with both coaches and players over the years and that’s now contributing to the demise of this team.

I said in the Changes thread they should give the job to Warren and trade Harris. I like Harris a lot but I dont think that would sit well with him so get some draft picks and find someone to backup Warren.

Warrens should be getting the bulk of the work though.

Every QB from Romo to Sims to Boomer, etc have been saying it all season about the Jets and Steelers. This offensive line isn't imposing their will on anyone so playing with that mindset as if its going to magically happen is Einsteins quote about insanity!!

I don't blame people for being argumentative. Sometimes it's in their nature. What does bug me is when it's said with an attitude as if they know and no one else does. There are a couple of here like that. Most of the time, I simply dismiss it. Sometimes it has to be addressed. Either way, anyone that has followed sports for years knows that the longer a coach is tenured with one organization, the more power he accrues. I don't pretend to know exactly where the line is drawn for personnel decisions within the cap of course, but I'd like to think the only one that could likely veto Tomlin would be ARII.

Anyway, that was an epic rant by DJ. I only hope the faith he seems to have in ARII is well founded because I have my doubts. Could be a real interesting offseason.

In 2021, Harris had 74 receptions. In 2022 he had 41. This year, it’s 24. Mix it up with Najee! Stop trying to make him into a Derrick Henry. He can easily gain 6 yards with a screen.

One of the biggest problems with this year's team is they are terrible at running screens. It looks like the line can't figure out how to block them properly.

Agreed. I would like to see him benched for the game against the Bengals. This team is done, anyway, so why not send a message about accountability?

It is mind boggling how bad they are. An NFL team that cant set up a screen. More than half the time we can't even get the pass to the RB to even get it started. I'm just waiting for when we actually get the pass to the RB to then be flagged for the illegal man down field penalty that will surely result from a mental lapse by one of our garbage linemen (always an exception for Jones)!!
