    Starting it off.

Seeing a lot of LB's from Buffalo being cut.....just saying the ones the Steelers try to sneak to PS might not make it.

I'm thinking we'll carry 11 LB this year. Fort, Johnson and Dirty Red make it.

I'm mean really, how can a guy nick named Dirty Red not make the Steelers.

I also think we only carry 8 OL.... Hubbard gets cut and we keep BJ & Wallace

They very well could and just look at one of them as a special teamer. They do that From time to time.

Does Ayer's make it as the special teams returner/ gadget receiver?

I think I heard on Cooler Talk or something that they expected Hubbard to make it.

me either but then we are looking at Hamilton as the 6th wr and maybe some PR/KR responsibilities and he didn't inspire either.

He probably will because Tomlin likes vets but Hubbard's flexibility is bad. He's a decent enough backup OG but he stinks @ OT.... Why keep him then is my question since Wallace has proven he can play adequately @ OG/C and BJ in developing nicely in that role also. I'd rather have a good STer or extra LB instead of Hubbard.

If they go with 6, then I'd rather Ayers over Hamilton- but I suspect they keep 5 and hold on to more RBs.

No surprise cuts so far .... Except RB dukes cut before Stingly........

Of those cut so far dukes and Feiler and Hooks probably make the PS..

Steelers' confirmed cuts thus far: RB Brandon Brown-Dukes, DL Lavon Hooks, OT Wade Hansen, OGs Shahbaz Ahmed and Antoine Everett.

Steelers have released sixth-round pick OLB Travis Feeney, per source. Raw athlete who struggled with injuries. Practice squad candidate.

Paulson should be on their radar

CB D'joun Smith was released, he should be on their radar.

I doubt they keep 6 WR..... They may keep 6 If the 6th WR is really a return specialist that we need.

I read the Bears cut Tony Moeaki who has a history with Todd Haley in Kansas City. Could be a name to remember.

CB Garner has been cut. This is the first player cut I thought had a chance to make the 53.

Logan Paulsen from Washington is an upgrade but is he enough to warrant cutting Grimble to sign him...

Why did you think that? I don't remember hearing anything about him in the three games I watched. Which is maybe a good thing for a CB but why did you feel he would make it?

I'd add in does he walk in off the street and have enough time in eight days to play and be better than the guy who has a month in camp. That is a tough one to balance

I thought he would be a slot corner behind Davis. From what I seen he was a willing tackler and played decent coverage from the slot.

He needs seasoning for sure but I was thinking he might make the 53 until they signed cut player for the last CB position. He should make the PS now.

Gay, Golson, Burns, Grant and Davis will the only CB we carry on the 53 today ..... IMHO

As a 3rd tight end I'd say yes and would note the 3rd TE will probably be inactive on game days anyways.
