after Ben's sideline interview? It looked as though Tomlin was giving Haley and earful.

I did, too. But it seemed more demonstrative than angry, like, "That's the way we do it!!!!"

I noticed Haley standing all by himself in the second half.

If you looked closely, you could lip read him saying: "I'm sure we have more plays than that draw up the middle, but I just can't think of any... come on Haley, think..."

While the offense kind of stunk...the one who needed the earful was LeBeau. But he's untouchable.

You know, I was actually thinking that as I wrote it. The negatives of the game are largely on the defense, in my opinion, and specifically where the pressure went in the 2nd half. But there were still some dubious playcalls on the offensive side.

Blame to go l around. We were an offensive machine in the first half. Where'd that go. Almost shut out in second half.

Exactly. Even a run of the mill bad performance would've closed this game out 1/2 through the 4th quarter.

I have no problem with Haley today. Our offense disappeared in the 3rd quarter, but a lot of that was execution. Maybe all of it. And I think Haley was very responsible for our 1st half success.

I didn't like the run to Blount on the critical 3rd and 1, but even for that, I think the play call was fine. Ben should have audibled out of it when he saw that defensive front. That run was never going to work.

Exactly. Say what you want about the O, but they gave the D a 24 point lead and they lost it.

I agree HS . When you bring Blount in on a 3rd and 1 the defense instinctively knows your running. Changing that play to a screen would have made more sense and of course resulted in success
