Funny how it took him one week to start getting the majority of the touches.

Harris was still getting up to speed after missing all of the preseason, yet when the game was on the line late in Week 2, he got the ball. Just as Tomlin knew, Harbaugh was learning that Harris is the guy you can trust with the game on the line. Speaking of things that damage an argument, that you didn't seem to know weakens yours significantly.

Yep. It was very clear that the Chargers intent was to sign a 1st round RB with the hope that they would have Najee pushed to RB2.

Though he could be a stop gap for a year if they didn't have one of the very deep RB class fall to them.

You must be trolling with the first comment, moving on from that silliness

1,000 yard season comes out to 62.5 yards a game for a 16 game season and 58.8 yards a game for a 17 game season. Oooo pinch me.

He got those 1,000 yards seasons because he played every game, that was his best trait, durability. Something else he and Edmunds share along with being failed first rd picks. Except Edmunds was pick 28 and Harris was pick 24.

If you are going to spend a first rd pick on a RB you better be special, Najee wasnt, he was just another RB, one that wasnt even good enough to have his cheap option picked up.

When you have to start creating fiction to try to make your argument, you have lost.

You keep dismissing 1,000 yard seasons as if they are easy, yet Harris was the only back in the league to do it each of the past four seasons.
You keep trying to dismiss Harris, yet Warren was never able to beat him out.

Warren lasted all of three games as the lead back before suffering an injury that will force him to miss at least one game. Not good. The Steelers poor choices led them to rely on Gainwell today. Talk about ways to get Rodgers hurt. Now they have no running back the opposing defense will respect and their starter is not good at picking up blitzes.

I have said it in a lot of other threads. Najee had his faults. Slow, poor vision, lack of burst. His real super power though, was his durability. He was like the energizer bunny. Just keeps going and going. I know that he is injured now, but that is a butterfly affect kind of thing too. If he was here, different trainers, different workouts, different everything he does. Maybe he would still be injured, but with so many different events from the humidity level, temp, teams played, to where he took a crap in the morning......you can't say it would be the same if he were here.

You most definitely care with how you run to his defense all the time :lolol:

But the point went over your head, that achilles was going to blow up no matter where he was, non contact injury. We’re lucky the Steelers moved on.

I wish him well but I'm not that concerned about him right now, it looks like you're trying to deflect from RB1 couldn't stay healthy for 4 games . You have no idea if Najee would've suffered the same Achilles injury if he was still with the Steelers.

It was a non contact injury. It was going to happen regardless, use some common sense.

But anyway, cheers to you and your happiness to Warren being inured. :drinks:

Do you really not see how silly you sound bragging about a Warren injury?

And like I said earlier this season they would need Kaleb Johnson after he got benched.
