    This sucks!!!!

Never been a fan of DJ but he was looking better than ever when he did play this year.
Levi Brown? do we still loose a pick for him?
Not sure he was our answer as savior for our LT problems but he should have been better than whimper who I am still confused on to why he's still here.

    Who is Richard Gordon?

    Cajun-

I'd say we almost certainly don't lose a pick for him now. There were mixed reports about the pick to begin with. I have no idea why Whimper is still here.

Richard Gordon is a nobody. No really. http://thesteelersfans.com/steelers-place-levi-brown-and-david-johnson-on-ir/

Well, if there's one thing this team needs, it's more TEs.

No. There will likely be an injury settlement in his future.

Definitely sucks. I was curious as to what Levi could do...and DJ was looking really good. At this point I'd rather see DJ back with the team next year than Spaeth/Palmer. Heath, DJ and Paulson are a good trio. Poor guy can't catch a break.

Is there any indication that Levi Brown was already injured and the Steelers missed this?

He passed a physical with the team before the trade could be completed. Thats the one bad thing about a serious injury...it can be a lot easier to re-injure it...and it looks like that was the case here.

God forbid if another O lineman goes down! I know Starks has been cut twice this year by different teams, but he knows the offense and I would be more comfortable with him than Whimper!!

DJ out is bad news. Levi is not. Ben should be thanking the football Gods that he won't have to worry about the revolving door Levi guarding his blind side. Not glad the man is hurt as rooting for injuries is as busch league as it gets, but not disappointed he will not be suiting up. Tho, from what you guys say on this board if this Whimper guy ever steps foot on the field during live action we are in some serious fecal matter!!

In other words: he wasn't all that healthy? The triceps hadn't actually healed?

I hope so. Actually I hope someone finds out if he came to us injured because I don't understand how you can get hurt in warmups.

Judging by the size of the new TE he may actually be able to block. He's a monster if his numbers are correct. 6'4 285.

that is the absolute first thing I thought. larry brown spark any memories? 15-20 more lbs. and he's playing LT. LOL:lolol:

adams will be the swing man, or incase velasco would go down and beachum had to move there. whimper has been working as a guard for awhile now. I don't think he ever goes to tackle before adams.

i'd be checking out cody Wallace closer. for now i'm giving beachum the nod.

no joe long either. that surprised me some. I thought he played pretty well in the preseason, when he played.

big. good blocker in college. qb'ing at the U during his time was not great, nor was the o-line and he blocked a lot. I don't think he was a bad receiver, just not used a lot that way. not sure now.
