We can talk about route tree, learning the playbook, etc., but at the end of the day, a competent OC would be able to find a way to get Washington open. Quite often, all Kielce does is run in a straight line 10 yards down the field, stop, turn around and miraculously there is no one within 5 yards in any direction.

i'm telling you all it was to get jones on the field as the extra blocker instead of washington. even though they could have used washington to actually catch a pass with play action. they have heard rumblings of getting jones on the field so this is their answer. always a day late and a dollar short. no innovation of how we can use our weapons to improve. it's always one thing at a time and 2 weeks late in doing it. on it goes though. expect nothing different on a short week.

Exactly find a soft spot in the zone int he middle of the field and sit. Problem is our offensive line has been offensive for so long that they have to keep all hands on deck on that the line of scrimmage to even remotely have something called pass protection, thus our TE's rarely are out running routes it seems.
