Did you know he's been bouncing around the league since 2012? Dude was a fullback on the PS for Seattle. He was even released by the Patriots.

He signed for 3 years 5.5 million with Philly and Pittsburgh just wasn't going to pay that much for a guy they had bouncing off and on the PS. IIRC we still had Shazier and they didn't use him when he went down they went out to get a guy off the couch.

I think most here thought they needed to keep him, but I think Philly snagged him off of the PS late in the year and promoted him. Then signed him after the season.

 

I remember watching him in several preseason games for us and he looked like a stand out player with a high motor. When he did play the regular season it was on ST's and he seemed to always be around the ball and making tackles as well. Letting him go was a mistake IMO. Last night he played especially well making plays all over the field for the Rats.

 

He was removed from the field as soon as they got the positive test result
