I’ve always found this to be a valuable place to get accurate, honest, reliable information.

After Wild Card Weekend, the number one seed will play the lowest surviving seed from the wild card games. The number two seed will play the highest surviving seed from the Wild Card games

On wildcard weekend, if the #6 upsets the #3...#6 will go vs #1 the following week while the #2 Will play play #4 vs #5 winner.

If #3 wins vs #6 on wildcard weekend, #3 vs #2 will play the following weekend while #1 Will play the #4 vs #5 winner.

Man if these guys finish at 13-3 I'll be ecstatic!

To lose a #1 seed based on a head to head would suck, but it is what it is!

Would rather force Brady to play the Jags though and get thrown around a bit, but if everything holds, l like the Chiefs or Ravens chances in NE.

Don't feel comfortable about the Jags in Pittsburgh though. That last playoff game with them is still salty with me.

To me it looks almost certain that seeds 1-5 will be:
    1. NE
    2. Steelers
    3. Jax
    4. KC
    5. Balt

I’m guessing the Jags will take care of the Chargers or whoever else slips into the 6th seed. The leaves the winner of KC vs. Balt heading to NE. I would like both of those teams’ chances in Foxboro much more than Jax’s chances would have been against NE.

I honestly think the only team in the afc that can match pats offense is kc..

I think the Chargers are going to get in at #6 seed they have the fire power to beat the Jags and the Pats . That is the only 6 seed I can see as dangerous.

I hope we play the starters against the Brownies for half a game. I hate the idea of back to back weeks where the starters get rust waiting on the first playoff game. A more ballsy option would be to make the Houston game a bye week, playing the backups, then playing the starters in the Browns game which could be a must win for the bye.

I know the Jaguars looked horrible yesterday, but I still think theirs is the only defense with a shot at beating up Brady and slowing the Patriots down.

Speaking of Penalties: The Pats have had 44 1st downs to opponents 21 via penalties, including 30-10 over the last ten weeks. The Steelers have had 29 first down penalties to the opponents 22, including a 19-15 edge over the last ten weeks.

the only ways the Jags play the Pats is if the Steelers get the #1 seed or the Jags beat the Steelers in the playoffs

I know. There seems to be some sentiment that the Patriots as the top seed will face a worse matchup with the Chiefs or Ravens. I disagree with that sentiment.

And they also have the QB that’s most likely to make several fatal errors that give the Pats points. Teams with mistake-prone QBs don’t fare well vs NE.

Fair point. They would need the good Bortles to show up and that doesn't happen consistently.

There is a website that tracks NFL penalities "NFLpenaltyracker.com".......there are several teams with less penalties than the pats, it also shows how many accepted against them. I'm all for a good conspiracy story now and then, but to say the league is aiding the pats through calls or non calls is a little silly!

    ah
    ahh, interesting.

Is there a website that tracks when those calls happen in the flow of the game though...
