Well this makes me feel dumb, who the heck is John Malecki and when did he join the roster in the first place?

CS is awful and no better than any backup we had. Back in preseason he was always two steps behind which is par for the course when it comes to DB's and S on this team

He's a G/C that was on the Practice Squad since preseason. He was moved up to the 53 man last week when Pouncey was hurt.

And this means Will Allen probably won't play tomorrow

I've come to the conclusion that there's something in Allen's contract that says he doesn't ever have to actually play.

So if Pouncey is still out, who is back so that they don't run out of O lineman if (God help us if they do) get hurt.

This was pretty much a special teams move...Tomlin could bench Van Dyke and have Cro-Smith replace him. Allen is still supposed to start for Troy again this week.

Exactly this. Cro-Smith was signed in case Tomlin wanted to make good on his threat to make Van Dyke ride the pine.

C-S looked better last year in preseason then he did this year. he's been around here for 3 years and was on the active roster last year for awhile. he's no worse then mundy. as far as will i'm hurt again allen, he sprained an ankle last week. why the heck is he still even here? C-S could get more then just ST's reps if needed. he has been hurt himself the last couple of weeks though. where is golden? he got a couple of reps last week or the week before, but that was it.

those georgia safeties are looking better and better for next year. i still like SS shamarko thomas too, from syracuse. he's like a guided missle. a 4.39 SS ...whaaaaat!

For some reason this thread reminded me of this joke

    Elton & David's' Baby - Elegance & Splendor
    Extraordinaire ! ! !

They had their sperm mixed together and a
    surrogate mother was artificially inseminated.

When the baby was born Elton and David were
ushered into a ward where a dozen babies were lying in their cots, eleven of
    them crying and screaming.

In the corner, one baby was lying serenely. A
nurse came over to both of them and indicated that the happy child was
    theirs.

"Isn't it wonderful?" Elton asked David. "All
these crying babies...and yet our baby is so content. This just proves the
    superiority of gay love!

"The nurse said, "Oh sure, he's happy now, but
just watch what happens when I pull the pacifier out of his ass...."

there are alot of guys that make a play now and then. most only see those good plays once in awhile and say how good these guys are playing. foote, colon, mundy, allen, hood, max and several others, yea they make plays once in awhile, but there are 5 bad plays to every 1 good one that most don't notice. that's the ones i have a problem with. out of position, miss blocks,to slow to be where they are supposed to be, can't get off blocks, slow into coverage or late into coverage and these all add up so much more then the few good plays they make.

looks like Curtis Brown will be the next one without a hat next week with his block in the back that cost us a touchdown.
