I understand not wanting to clog the Steelers board up with non-related material.... but it does have some Steelers ties (same situation with Garrett and Rudolph), although very loose ties. And also, that's what mods are for. They can move threads to the non-Steeler related forum and everything will be fine. Just report it against the rules and let the board figure it out. There is literally a system in place to rectify this issue. It just seems pointless to keep dropping "who?" messages. Idk.

 

Entire season should be gone. Not one, but two helmets. While Garrett got half a season for one helmet.

With Oladukun gone, it makes sense to keep Reindeer as he knows the system best. The Steelers would not get much for him, because the other team is getting one year of a backup QB. Of course, he could be quite good, but who knows? GMs are not going to be salivating in line to get him, as if they are getting Johnny Unitas in his prime or something.
I agree with the logic that he is worth more to the Steelers than a fifth or fourth round pick next year(at best). And with the Steel Sieve oline, both Trubisky and Pickett could be in body casts spoon fed by nurses in Presby before week three. So I bet they keep Reindeer harnessed to the sleigh.

Also, which thread is correct for posting complex mathematical equations and questions where a much higher IQ level is necessary? I'm assuming you frequent that thread daily, being the only person qualified to tackle such topics?

You can't possibly be serious. I neither wrote nor read anything that could be remotely construed as mean. So it's cool for some guys to bust balls, as long as they've been here long enough and earned it. That about right?

 

How long have you been a member of the board? Both active and passive. The one true thing about our community since the date TTF went live is that no matter what people show who they really are, some sooner, some later. Glenn is who he is and while it comes off as hall monitoring or like being a jerk it's not as bad as a few self appointed message board cops we had a few years ago. I tend to ignore it and talk about the topic of whatever thread catches my eye.

I will say this though in the last two years we have seen a serious uptick in members doing the look at me threads or over populating the Steelers section with similar topics in some attempt to one up no one in particular. The Mods are all volunteers and while they merge or eliminate annoying threads they can't be on here 24/7.

Everything buffs out eventually.

I get that one was in an actual game, the other a practice, but it still is intent. It seems the NFL will punt on this as 'teams discipline their own practices '. What bs and weakness they have.

 

You make it through one season around here and the personality quirks of everyone on the board become pretty apparent. I'm sure by week3 Sdot will have at least two threads calling for us to boycott the NFL and firing Tomlin as a complete idiot of a coach. Benny will have had 8 threads started about completely random topics that makes everyone scratch their heads and saying what the heck are you babbling about.

 

I am so sick of people being a dang hall monitor, I mean seriously, even every Steelers post in here gets turned into conversations about food, music, movies, what people done yesterday.

I get interested in a Steelers related topic and next thing I know there is a page talking about the topic and then 10 pages talking about a bologna sandwich.
