Ben has thrown deep in previous games and has been atrocious at it. For whatever reason he has seemed scared to throw over the middle this year

 

You're right, but that's not what was said. They said Ben was calling plays not in the playbook.

 

I don't believe that for a second. We had the #1 spot and a bye locked up if we kept winning. You're trying to tell me that the coaches willingly gave up that bye in order to try to trick other professional athletes? And how long does that trick last for? If Ben comes out airing it out in the playoffs, you think teams are just going to roll over and die because they didn't expect that? They'll just play deep and expect us to be more balanced the rest of the game.

This is a silly conspiracy theory because it makes no sense.
