Congrats "Big" Mike

Mike Strachan got drafted by the Colts in the 7th round, pick 229. Small school kid with a big upside, kinda like Randy Moss, another WV prospect who dominated at the lower levels and didn't turn out too bad.

"Big" Mike played college ball at the University of Charleston (WV). He was a man among boys at that level and will need to work really hard to make it at the next level. But damn, he's got some hands. There isn't a ball he can't catch, and won't fight for. Fun to watch.

The other reason I'm bringing this up is that my daughter was dating him. They're still "talking" (whatever that actually means to these crazy kids these days), but she's now in Florida in the Air Force, and he's in Indianapolis. Who knows what will happen, but he's a good kid with a good head on his shoulders. Hope it stays that way.

Fingers crossed and some prayers out for this kid.

Yep. That was a hell of a catch regardless of level of competition. He's got 10" hands. You read that right.
