    Journalism has been dead for the last decade and a half. Newspapers don't sell because they make more money off click bait. They are trying to get rid of actual newspapers cause it's not profitable to deliver them. If someone does buy the paper these days it is $2.50 - $4.00 depending on where you live and equates to 1/10th the amount of content it used to.

    Now these writers sell their blogs and most of them were graded on steep curves just so the institutions could pad their pockets.

    Sorry to get off topic but like you said that piece of writing was horrid.

    I'd say its because its somebody either in or very close to the organization. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.
