C'mon...I'm sure if you paid a lot of money to see a show and that show was awful, you'd be angry.Fans also have the right to be unhappy after a horrible game like that one vs. Buffalo, especially since it wasn't the first time it had happened in recent years for the steelers like losing against a 2-10 team twice in 5 days at home in 2023

Fans didn't cross the line for that one... If you want to see what bad fan behavior looks like, just look at Philly, where they threw eggs at their OC's house after a game against the Bears in 2025.

It’s all about expectations. Most Steelers fans have unhinged expectations for each year.

Even in here which is usually fairly reasonable, there were people talking about a SB run.

Buffalo should have and did blow the Steelers off the field. They were a far better team. It was shocking it stairs close as it did for as long as it did.

No... It's just that we're tired of seeing the Steelers stuck in the middle with no hope of improving at this pace... In the last four years, I was only one win away from a perfect prediction in each of those years, so it has nothing to do with expectations if I'm frustrated.

Well strap in. Because we’ve seen since the end of the season that ownership wants it this way.

All I’m saying is that man many many many Steelers fans are not using logic and reason.

Look at the last 3 or 4 decades of Steelers football. It wasn’t solely Tomlin deciding to maximize regular season wins and get into the playoffs and hope to get hot.

Someone named Rooney has been approaching NFL football that way since the Reagan administration.

You don’t hire McCarthy and his good buddies because you think you’re entering a rebuild. You do that because you think your one or two moves away from making a run.

The frustration of most Steelers fans is misdirected. I really thought it was Tomlin as well. I figured he had no desire to deal with rebuilding through a rookie QB. The last months have really changed my mind. I think Tomlin had a preference for vets but he was also fulfilling marching orders from above.

It does not appear those orders have changed.

I agree that Rooney is to blame for this situation

I hope that anyone employed as a RB or TE in the NFL already knows how to run and catch. Where we've seen so many fail to get into the lineup is in their inability to block. It's what separates Warren. Meanwhile, when you see Kaleb Johnson on the field you're 80% sure he's running because he can't block. Teaching him to block will not only keep the QB upright on passing plays, but takes away the D's certainty that it's almost always a run.
