Our defense is good for 2020 standards. Just need to keep improving on offense and hope the defense can make splash plays every now and then. Lot of games where lame penalties allowed teams to score

Read a stat where the Steelers are 2nd in the league (Indy first) at allowing 1st downs per play.

The other 3 of the top 5 elite defenses are allowing more 1st downs. Steelers were 25th in the league defensively on 3rd downs.

 

Middle of the road numbers means a fair rating. I see your a big stat fan, I am not, we will have to agree to disagree.
Please coaches out there teaching young players . Teach Db's to find the ball and go get the ball before it is too late.
and you have what we have in HS, college and pros as pass defenders. Terrible technique and tackling skills.

 

In a related manor of teaching DB to get the ball before it is too late. We still make stupid mistakes, you learn in high school that when it's 4th down and the the ball is deep near the opposing teams endzone, when they throw a deep pass you don't intercept like Nelson did you knock it down and get the ball back near the 10 yard line instead of around the 50 yard line.

Looks good in the stats by not a smart football play.
