    What???
I just don't see trading any weapons help the rookie.
I'm not saying don't trade Him, but We could have after the season.
I'm saying this about any of the targets for Pickett.

    Green Bay looking bad.

    Chicago looking feisty at least.

Claypool wasn't exactly helping Pickett all that much anyway, by running bad routes.

    My biggest question right now

Is how can Claypool be on the Bears 4 days and be leading them in catches at the end of the first quarter

But the Steelers can't get Austin ready to play in roughly 4 months

    HACK

Austin suffered a setback and had surgery on his foot. Canada's words still sound ridiculous. I do get your point, but Austin was shut down due to a setback with his foot, not Canada's incompetence.

It's not as if Claypool put up some massive numbers. He has two receptions for 13 yards.

I don't think trading him helps Pickett, but it does seem as if he was part of the problem Pickett spoke of with guys not being where they were supposed to be.

Claypool has 2 catches for 13 yards at half. Not exactly lighting it up.

Well He sure went 2 Him a hell of a lot in the second half of the last 3 games.
Again not a Claypool fan....everyone on here knows this.....I've been complaining about Him for the last two years, but...Claypool leads all our receivers in yards, average yards, and Tds in the last 3 games.....I just don't see how that helps our rookie Qb by trading Him in season. I totally get it after the season.

Like I mentioned before maybe they were showcasing him right before the trade deadline.

Dulac reported Austin was scheduled for surgery, so I don't think he is healthy enough to play

I agree, but it's just because of what was reported what Canada supposedly said.
I think that has most upset about it.

Canada tries to blame the players for his own incompetence. Everyone except Tomlin and Rooney see right through it.

This is when they could get the second-round pick for him. You can't assume that trade would still be available in the offseason.

No....I'm not assuming any of that, but We could have kept Him for the rookie Qb, and still traded Him in the offseason. Not for the same pick....I realize that. I'm just thinking of Pickett.....that is all.
