sometimes too many chefs in the kitchen can be a problem and I think we had a little bit of that so I am not against trading Claypool for a 2nd round pick, I see it like this : Pickens is better than Claypool and he and Johnson is kind of an interesting 1-2, I kind of like it. behind them we have Oslewski, Boykin, plus the emergence of Sims. just fix play calling... can the bye bring much needed improvement? we'll see

Since when was Chase Claypool sleeping during meetings? That's easy to report and verify. You are the one that brought up fake news about me saying that Chase had support in the locker room amongst teammates. You can't even prove that wrong.

JuJu can claim whatever he wants, but I doubt he will ever match the numbers he put up with Pittsburgh in 2018 100 catches 1.400 yards and 7 TDs.

He was great for the first 2 years but not in the last 3 years. He was in a awful situation with the steelers and they did not put him in the best situation to be successful... And he's not the only steelers player for that

Smith-Schuster is in the position he needs to be in to be successful. He's got a great quarterback and he doesn't have to be the No. 1 receiver. There may be situations the defense pays more attention to Hardman or Valdez-Scantling, who are both faster than him, but Kelce is always the No. 1 threat.

Schefter just reported, GB offered a 2nd and a late round pick for CC. GB. And Bears have the same record as of now.. GB's 2nd pick will be no later than mid round. Imo.. We could have had 2 picks for CC..

I would be very surprised if the bears and the packers have around the same record for the rest of the year.I prefer a early second round pick that a mid to late second round pick even with a late rounds draft pick who is always hard for every team to hit in the late round

The more picks the better IMO, GB and CHI will only be 5 -6 apart is my belief .. Hell Chi could have the later pick when the season is over

A 5 position difference in the 2nd round is generally worth a mid-late 4th round pick in a draft day trade. If Green Bay offered a 5th round or later pick with their 2nd, then we’re likely better off with the Bears’ 2nd rounder. We can always look for a trade down on draft day if the board plays out in a way where it makes sense to drop in the 2nd. I’d rather be in a position to trade down rather than needing to trade up.

I would rather have an early 2nd than a mid to late 2nd and a late round pick.

The Bears just traded away a huge chunk of their defense. They may finish as a bottom 5 team. Steelers made the correct call IMO.

So, Tomlin ships Claypool off, thus saving the season and Tomlin's job. A guaranteed winning season now.....

Very likely he will be limited today, because it's his first week with a new team but it will be very interesting what Claypool will does today and the rest of the season with the Bears

The Matt Canada offense make him look bad

Claypool did plenty to make himself look bad, though the overall offensive struggles certainly didn't help him. He has run poor routes and he can't win a 50-50 ball despite his size. Maybe the trade wakes him up and he starts to learn to run routes with some discipline, but that doesn't mean he was ever going to get it as a Steeler.

Right now, here today, it was a great trade. The Steelers get a second-round pick back for a player that was not performing at the level expected of him. He wasn't going to get a second contract with this club anyway. Whether he was or wasn't a locker room distraction is nothing but white noise to me. The Steelers need that draft pick next spring much more than they need the services of a very average wide receiver.

I hope You are correct...., but today....how does it help Pickett.....in the last 3 games....Claypool was His most useful weapon, and I'm not saying this as a Claypool fan.....I've been harder on Claypool than most.....

Why do you think trading Claypool would help Pickett

I wonder if they will utilize more heavy personnel, eg 2TE. Work on blocking to run the ball. Also get Pickens more targets.
