I like his aggressive running style after the catch/on sweeps. Always looking to get extra yards and gets up field nicely. What round is he projected to be in play at?

Most mocks have him being drafted in the mid-second round.

Nice. Maybe he's there for us in round 2 then... If we love him, maybe we trade up a few spots in round 2 to get him.

as the draft gets closer players move up and down too. he could very well be in play in round one if the draft doesn't fall a teams way early. those are educated guesses by people not in the nfl. if we could get him in two i would be all for it. he would help any offense.

He's 6'5" 210 lbs and ran a 4.36 forty at the combine. Those are insane numbers.

Seems like the type of player the Steelers could be into. Kind of a Martavis Bryant-like athlete. Worth a look at the very least. We're in the market for a WR, and if he is attainable for us somewhere in round 2 maybe that's the type of guy we look at. Lots of quality WR's in the draft, so there's at least a solid shot he is within reach.

Very much like Martavis Bryant... with one major catch. His passion for the game is far greater than Martavis' coming out. That said, I doubt he is in play at 52 unless either Tomlin, Colbert, Matt Canada, Frisman Jackson or a combination of the two attend North Dakota State's Pro Day. Again, I do understand I sound like a broken record player but the team has been doing this since 2010 with Maurkice Pouncey; second round players the same.

All that said.... Christian Watson would very much solve the DEFCON 1 issue the Steelers lack in a deep threat Wide Receiver.

Glenn was probably thinking that Deshaun Watson was saved by the thread title.

I'm more concerned by your bing search use....

I misread your post as "a little Deebo Samuels" then saw his size and was like "Little"?

My only question is why he wasn't at one of the Power 5 conferences? Seems to have Size, speed, hands. concentration? character? Father played safety in the NFL so he's got a heads up on what's facing him.

Also, watching the highlights, I'm not seeing that speed on the pure separation down the field. Not sure if that's because they didn't have the QB and line to let him just blow off the line and get that separation or he just doesn't have that type of speed. It's clear he has jets on the sweeps and crossing patterns though.

Looking at what the NFL site has as weakness is his top of the route footwork (extra steps) and being able to sink his hips. Also, needing to impose his size and timing his jumps. Probably what I was seeing

The Best Wr coming out in the draft is T. Burks...one of the leading Wrs in the SEC, and with less 2 work with ....if You've watched. Also I believe led the SEC in big plays.

He's not the best after running a 4.55 at the combine, teams want WRs that are more explosive when drafting in the first round.

Burks is interesting. He didn't time particularly well, but Neither did Larry Fitz and that dude was awesome. I have a preference for Garrett Wilson, but wouldn't mind Burks at all if he's where we want to go.

He will not be there at our 20 pick. I'm not the only one that thinks this about Burks. If He is still on the board at 20 ....I will $h!+. LoL

Imagine....AB half the the size of Burks...yet AB ran a 4.56 at the combine. Also Burks didn't lead the whole SEC in big plays because He was slow.

Most drafts I've seen has Burks going late in the first ( Mostly to Green Bay or Kansas) or somewhere in the 2nd round.

Personally, I only want Garrett Wilson or Jameson Williams in the 1st. Speed at the extreme is what I want. And or great hands. Burks seems like a poor man's London.

Wilson has a bit of both, Williams has speed and the Penn State kid has hands for days. But I'd trade out of 20 for him

AB is far more shifty and twitchy than Burks though. AB got separation, was excellent after the catch etc. Burks kinda reminds me of an Alshon Jeffery type. They're just different players. Wilson is like Stefon Diggs, but a better and more refined prospect coming out of college. Burks is similar to Jeffery, just a step slower. He can do a bit more than Jeffery like a Deebo Samuel, but he is much slower (and bigger) than Deebo. Its pick your poison imo. I like Wilson as a prospect better, but Burks looks like he will be a good player too.
