Quite a few complain about Collinsworth, but he doesn't usually bug me. One comment he made during the game that did bug me was that he asked Pete Carroll about facing the team that fired him with the coach who replaced him. Collinsworth, said you could see the competitor in Carroll that he was still mad and said "They didn't realize what they were losing, when the fired him." Of course, that was Collinsworth making that statement when they were up 10 points. However, I'm fairly confident Kraft isn't regretting hiring Belichick.

I usually hate Collinsworth, and maybe I missed some of his comments last night, but I didn't have the same level of hatred last night as I usually do. Frankly, I'm kind of surprised there wasn't more of the Carroll v Bellicheat talk (former vs replacement) earlier in the media. Of course maybe there was and I just didn't care to watch it. Collins worth was spot on with that last offensive call. Why the hell run that play? You've got one TO remaining, run the ball with Beast Mode, call a TO if necessary, then try a pass play. I mean, lets not forget Wilson threw 4 picks last week.

I don't think Collinsworth was saying the Pats regretted it. He was talking from Pete Carroll's POV; it's only natural for Carroll to want to say to the employer who fired him, "Hey, I'm not some chump."

His comment about why they would throw the ball on that play when they had Marshawn Lynch, was one of the very few times I have agreed with him!:shrug::lolol:
On a side note, gotta love Coach Carroll for taking responsibility-ish, and saying "WE made the call we thought gave us the best chance to get the ball in the endzone"!
At least we aren`t the only team, that "out-thinks" themselves, sometimes...
    Gotta suck for them.
I know how their fans feel!
Just RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!... LOL!!!
Unless that doesn`t work, and your fan base crucifies you for being "predictable"... LOL!:roflmao:
    GO STEELERS!!!!
WE GOT SOME WORK TO DO, TO GET BEN HIS NEXT RING!!!:herewego!:

That actually happened to Collinsworth and his Bengals in the 1982 Super Bowl. Three runs with Pete Johnson from the 1 and never got in the end zone.

Collinsworth, to me, calls it like he sees it without bias. When we are good he speaks well of us. When we are bad, he also says that. I think sometimes we don't want to hear the bad about us, or the good about the other team, so we blame him. For the Super Bowl, it wasn't our game, so he didn't bug us.
