I actually played that game on the bottom....It's way fun ...it's called Sepak Takraw, or Kataw. It's a game played by Laos, Thailand, and most countries around that area.....I was a striker/spiker.

Football, baseball, volleyball, golf, and swimming

Not as seriously: Basketball, softball, tennis, kick boxing, ping pong

I'm sure a ton of people here have played competitive sports of some sort. I'm sure most have.

I like mine better. I think mine is more up to date as that yours is what the Steelers set the depth chart before training camo.

Also, I feel sorry for Broderick Jones getting blamed for giving up the sack on Mason at the start of the 3rd QTR, as it was Kendrick Green who pushed Mason out of the pocket.
Mason is lucky he didn't get injured on the play; crazy his feet are actually in between Green's legs.

If you have weak opposition and weaker players around you on offense, the quarterback should still look like the best player on the field, but hey, you will make any excuse you can find for Rudolph.

Moore also has the experience of the past two seasons. There are also reports of him reshaping his body to get stronger and quicker. Don't get me wrong. I think Seumalo is going to make the guys around him better, but let's not lose sight of the work Moore has put in to get better.

I wasn't able to find in positive news on Nate Herbig's shoulder injury, other than the fact he was out of practice all last week with his injury.

The Steelers may be buyers on a backup center after preseason wraps up and teams start to trim their rosters.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Daniels/Dotson have center experience?

I can only go from what Labriola said in Fridays Asked and Answered, but according to him, no they do not have experience.

ANSWER: Right now, I believe Kendrick Green is the best and maybe only realistic option for the role of backup center at the start of the regular season. Nate Herbig has played some center, and while that has happened mostly in the preseason but never for the Steelers, now he has an injured shoulder that has kept him out of practice and most likely the second preseason game. Rookie Spencer Anderson has college experience there, but he's a rookie fighting for a roster spot and his best position is tackle. It has been said that maybe James Daniels could play there, but he's the starting right guard and he has had no appreciable practice time at center since signed as an unrestricted free agent in 2022. The Steelers open their regular season against a very good San Francisco team on Sept. 10, and they cannot afford to go into that game without a realistic plan at backup center. There don't seem to be a lot of options other than Green right now, and praying that Mason Cole starts all 17 games of the regular season and misses only 46 offensive snaps along the way is the worst option.

McCollum is a better option there. I certainly hope they have a Plan B and we see some of it Thursday night. If they really went into camp planning on Green being the backup center, that was foolish negligence on the part of a front office that did just about everything else right this past offseason.

If Green has to play for any length of time during the year that could wreck the whole season. One bad snap can lose a ballgame, getting blocked back into the QB can cause a turnover to lose the game. This can't be true that the Steelers are serious about making this clown the backup center.

Agreed. I just don't understand why this is a surprise to anybody. This is exactly what we saw from the guy two years ago.

I guess the question would be, who would replace Daniels at guard if he were to move to center? The interweb says that he's only got 508 career snaps at center in 4 years in the NFL but he did play 3 years at center at Iowa. I would have to imagine that even a guy who has not practiced at that position much with the Steelers would still be a better option than Green. Still, that's a big o-line shake up and would take a significant amount of time to get worked in.

I imagine most of this board did. STD was just setting up another argument in favor of his beloved third-string quarterback that doesn't hold up.
