I know we won't but we should .All of them are slot CB'S at best and will never ever be a true #1 or #2 CB in the NFL. Boykin and Gay are better than all 3 of them and there is really no reason to keep them . The longer this Team tries to make below average CB'S who are more suited to play inside starting CB'S the longer the problem will continue...

The plan I put out gives them a solid chance to correct the last 5 years of draft mistakes and bring in true talent that can actually help them win Football games ...I thought that was the goal..

I want him back as well. And Gay. I think if we did have both players, Put Gay on the outside along with Cockrell and Boykin in the slot. Gholson can be depth until he proves himself worthy. Grant might be the next safety.

 

What is all this nonsense? We trade all of our currently signed cornerbacks for a second round pick... Then turn around and somehow fleece the hell out of some poor team by trading two second round picks and a one year rental slot WR for a top 3 pick to get Ramsey! What? This isn't GM mode in Madden.

I like Kevin Colbert, but if a scenario like this happens... He gets fired on the spot.

 

If for no other reason than no one is going to trade with us for all those players.

There isn't a GM in the league that would make that trade. 2 2nd round picks(one is bottom of round) and a #3/4 WR for a top 10 pick?

Agreed. Although I don't know if he would want to come back unfortunately. When he was used he made plays. Still don't understand why he was not used earlier while a bum like Blake stayed on the field. I would bring Gay back with a cap friendly deal. He can play outside but if there is a better alternative he will end up back in Zona.

I also believe Cockrell has upside potential and Colbert wasted no time in resigning him.

 

i was wrong on his age too. he's only 25. even more reason i feel for him over gay in any type of 3 year deal. yes i agree about cockrell too. i liked a lot of what i saw from him. i liked him when he was in the draft too. i think he only improves going forward. maybe not a true shutdown corner but one that fits here and we could win with.

 

They can't afford Berry, it would take a lot more than that to trade up for Ramsey.

 

Found this pretty interesting, I have no idea if there is any truth to this but if they do bring back Boykin does that mean we are not bring Gay back?

We spent a 6 rd draft pick for the guy. Let's at least get our money worth.
I do like who we have on the team now..Gay,Cockrell,Boykins,Grant,Golson,
and pick up a stud cb in fa or draft. We may just luck up and find a diamond in the ruff

 

I am not sure if we traded those CB'S and got a 2nd. , we could use our 2 #2's and our #1 and throw in Wheaton ,that might just get us there . A Team needing a WR and looking to rebuild will value those extra picks ..
