Canada called the same pass play 8 times in 9ers game?

I would add as well that when we see a WR is open does not mean QB has a clear shot. We would need to see defenders proximity to QB .. Bottom line we would need to see behind at eye level what Kenny sees in front of him.

That comes a far way from explaining all KPs missed reads and passes though. Not even close.

That doesn't explain ALL the open WRs who are not seen as they are wide open, not even close.

KP is the fourth straight Steelers QB who has 'missed open receivers' in Canada's system.

I didn’t say you started thread. I specifically used the word “like” for a reason. The simple fact remains kenny choked. Now y’all can sit there and try and blame scheme or route trees to your hearts content. However, the simple fact we had receivers open repeatedly from the first possession onward says it wasn’t scheme our route tree. If they were to blame then we wouldn’t have had receivers open. Kenny Simple’s made poor decisions and/or poor throws. Washington ram 16 routes and was open on the majority of them. How many balls were thrown his way?

I really can't say - with any confidence - that I know it's Canada's system causing QBs to miss open receivers. All I know is that Kenny isn't seeing them, for whatever reason. Some have offered excuses such as Kenny not having passing lanes to throw through, but I've seen him miss many where that excuse didn't apply. Missing enough time to scan the field would explain some as well, but again, I've witnessed a lot where that excuse didn't apply.

Come on OLD A$$ I Can Hardly Move, and My Center is Green Ben had more TDs, and less turnovers his last year under Canada than all of our other Qbs combined have had in one year, and one game put together.
I don't believe anyone is say Canada is awesome(I have always said He sucks...guess what I said that when they hired Him, and I didn't need someone to tell Me that) , but until our Qbs actually see, and hit the Guys that are open....it doesn't really matter.

It just "feels like" coaches are trying to prioritise where Kenny's to go with the ball, instead of just letting him go back and fine the open guy. I find it revealing that our only score was in the 2 minute warning where, wouldn't you know it, Kenny is more free to just do what he wants. Sound familiar? The same thing was obvious with Ben being saddled to an offense where Tomlin was involved. Gee whiz, really?

Sometimes, but most the times I don't need to....because most the people on here jump at the chance.:thumbs_up:

Now go back, and look at the difference of the D they were running on that scoring drive right before halftime, and Yet He missed Guys on that drive also, and We had to go for it on fourth down.

Ben says he ignored Canada's play calling and called his own.

Yes, we did have to go for it on 4th, but we still scored, something we hadn't done, or did, the rest of the game. Ben had countless examples of where he was running the "team offense" and didn't get jack squat done in terms of scoring, but once it became more "seat of the pants" the offense got results and scored. I'm having a tough time thinking it's still all just a coincidence in the here and now. The evidence seems strong that when the QB plays under the team's "system" he doesn't get jack squat done in terms of scoring. This is a Tomlin problem - I am convinced of it. His "ultra control" ways hinder the offense. Proof is in the pudding.

There's no doubt that Tomlin is a huge part of the problem.
Let's admit it, it's bad all over.

You could say that, but it ignores what the 49ers did differently on that last drive.

Even if you are right about this particular drive, that doesn't discount the many other dozens of examples I have in my memory. Ben displayed how the "team program" sucked at producing scoring results. How many games did he prove that calling his own plays was far more effective than sticking to the team's program? Too many to count.

And here I thought it was Kenny that hit is head on the turf. Maybe they should put Matt Canada in the concussion protocol

The miscommunication woes are not helping. The personnel is not assisting even more as Levi Wallace can jam but lacks the recovery speed necessary should he be beat at the LOS. JPJ is but he is a Rookie; a Rookie playing with a Secondary that will endure growing pains early on.

That said, should Levi continue, to hell with it. Throw Jr. in there and see what you have.

No creativity needed...we just impose our will on the opposing team.
