Can we stop with the "rigged" loser talk?

If revenue is all that matters, why favor the Pats over the Steelers? The Steelers fanbase is as large if not larger than the Pats. They have one of the most electric WRs in the league and their legendary owner just died. They have an Army Ranger hero on the line and just lost their star LB to a brutal injury. What bigger stories do you need? The Pats just aren't that intriguing. There are better stories out there.

But back to my original point. If you HONESTLY think the game is rigged, why do you watch? Why do you put yourself through the frustration and heartbreak? I could almost (ALMOST) believe the owners were on board for rigging, but the players? Hell no. You really think the players would keep quiet and go along with something like that? No way in hell.

If for a minute congress thought there was funny business they'd be all over it. Especially considering that gambling on sports is legal.

It just boils down to a handful of stupid confusing rules and some terrible officials.

 

If you believe the NFL is rigged, and most of the stupid sheep don't, take advantage of it, profit by it.

Las Vegas doesn't take action in WWE matches, but they do on NFL games. You know it's rigged, you know it it's rigged for NE, you know it's rigged against Pitt, bet accordingly, make a fortune. Don't just wallow in anger that your favorite team is getting screwed by Roj the Comish, cash in on it!!

It's not rigged but there are biases, cheating, and horrendous inconsistencies. The Pats sure seem to be on the right side of that stuff constantly, not to mention astounding luck, without which Marsha has 1 or 2 rings.

 

The NFL isn't rigged. But they take little or no action against incompetent officiating crews.

I've never complained that we lost a game because of refs before because I always figured sometimes the calls go your way and sometimes they don't. But this game? They made a couple of token calls against the Cheats and that was it, however, they were holding and getting away with PI all game. All game.

We didn't get screwed by one bad call at the end of the game ( that I assume came from N.Y. ) we got screwed by numerous blatant no calls the whole game.

 

I was just messing around I don't think the NFL is rigged, although the Pats always seem to benefit from questionable calls.
