I was only a bit excited by the acquisition of this two QB because it was such a swing this organization never does. Still, I would have liked re-signing and admitting they looked past the guy right under their nose as the better “swing” option.

Has Tomlin ever publicly admitted he made a mistake?

 

I feel you. Tomlin and Rooney seem to be pleased as punch to be perpetually mediocre, so he might be here another 10 years. I'm not joking either

 

..... Pat Meyer sucks ass, and should have been replaced years ago as O-Line coach. Doesn't matter how many first round picks you have on the team with PAt Meyer in charge of the O-Line you are screwed.

Looks like Broaderick Jones has taken a huge step backwards thanks to coaching from Pat.

It took us 3/4 of a season to replace Canada, surely Mike Tomlin can see how bad the coaching is for the O-Line. Come on Arthur Smith, kicks this idiot to the curb!!!! Arthur Smith has O-Line coach in his background, so he should know what not to look for in an O-Line coach.

This was my EXACTLY my BIGGEST gripe about the team before Ben and it started for me when they let Woodson walk.

Hell, at that time, I was like “they aren’t trying to win a bowl, they happy with playoff wins every once in a while”. NOW, it’s 500.

Yes! I’m doomsdaying over a couple pre-season games. So what!!! Change my mind! I defy anyone.

 

Several of us may end up having heart attacks just watching this garbage.

 

Sad thing is I have become numb to it at this point. It’s like being a Pirates fan you just quietly laugh and become apathetic.

 

I don’t care about the losses in pre season but how anyone can watch this offense and not see major issues at OL WR and QB is beyond me. These things are not just going to magically click in a couple weeks. OL is disappointing as I expected that unit to be solid and maybe they still can if they get healthy and gel? Starting to think this OL coach is just trash though. WR and QB we just don’t have talent simple as that.

It was a real depression to watch our offense every Sunday for the last 3 years....I don't think I'll watch many Steelers games this year if it continues again early in the season

 

I’ve already invested a lot of money to go see them play in Denver for game 2. I guess I have a good chance of seeing some very long FG tries.

 

Ben Johnson(current OC of the Detroit Lions)would be a great choice

Funny but true. On a Pirate message board where 99% of us are old guys who remember the glory years they hope their grandchildren will see a World Series cause all of us have given up on it happening in our lifetimes. If lucky I got 10 years. Figure the Penguins are going to have some down years now. I know the Pirates will always suck but my hope for another Pittsburgh Championship lies with the Steelers. IMO they have the best chance the next 5-10 years. Just need to get lucky in the draft and find a hidden gem at QB.

 

Nope, I believe you won in Vegas last year? Steelers don't lose when you cross that big ass river to see them.

 

I have a good record watching them west of Pittsburgh. East, not so much. Anyone want to chip in for my California trip?
