Are we even sure that is what they did? I haven't seen any detail about his surgery. I think any tear severe enough that they would cut him open rather than operate Laparoscopically would be too severe for him to return so quickly. IF they did need to put in a mesh to stabilize the area, they could have done it laparoscopically, which is far less invasive. I had something similar last year, though it was a hernia repair. I still needed time to heal internally, but the wounds were nothing.

I did for an inguinal hernia. Out of commission for 6 weeks then back to golf practice, full go after 8 weeks. Was 22 at the time. I probably wasn't 100 percent me until that 8 week mark, but it was definitely a mental hurdle to overcome the injury and really go after it 100%.

heck yea. cam is so tough he does that for fun on weekends just for the heck of it and to himself. i have to wonder though does that work as a screen door when it gets colder and let the cold breeze in?

I wanted to see him return for the Green Bay game. But if he's ready then play. Hope he doesn't rip his screen. They are a pain to replace.

Coming back against one of the Freight Train running backs in the league. They can use all the help they can get. Lackluster run defense. When you have to bring up you best cover safety to help in run support over and over you have some issues.

Cam is signed through the 2024 season and will be 36 and will have been in the league 13 years. Enjoy his efforts.

How long ago was that? My surgery was also to repair an inguinal hernia, but they didn't cut me open. It was a robot-assisted laparoscopic procedure, which makes it far less invasive with a much easier recovery than being cut open.

I was up and going pretty quickly from Hernia repair as well, but that was not Lapro! Still have one massive scar and the other one pretty much nothing. That was around my early 30's. I noticed that one done with less of a scar took less time to heal and both times the sooner I got going on moving, the quicker it healed.

The surgery was at the end of the year in 2011. I had a 2 inch incision, but it was pretty marginally invasive. Mesh in, a few stitches to close me back up, and I was good to go.

I didn't even have any stitches. Just steri-strips. Almost no pain at all from the tiny incisions, though I was sore around where they put in the mesh for a while.

He will knock off the rust, thought he played as good as can be expected
for being gone that long. Where is Leal at?

    Does he really fit?

They need to draft another DT/DE after a Center. Heyward's contract is up after next season.

    Keep building the trenches.

Benton is a force. Need a carbon copy. Hungry.

Amazing Leal is non existent when the man simply does his job.
Maybe no splash play but effective.
I wonder if some here actually watch the game.
