    One guy said all pro or pro bowl related this year and next, another report said incentives only this year based on play offs, but regardless all that for this? I guess Cam can claim some victory, the Steelers can some how save their precious standard on how they do things, but I see failure all over. Be a man of principle Cam, show us you really did not want to be a Steeler, what now after getting over 100 million career winnings without a play off contribution to the team, you settle for 3 million if you win a game? What a cop out, lmao.

    What was the trade off I wonder, if he refused to play what cost to him in fine and check loss per game? He basically traded a couple game pay loss (and likely any chance to get another all pro) for a chance of 3 million bucks, admittedly those 3 million are higher odds than me willing the lottery, but was the me embarrassment of this entire thing worth a lottery pick?

    i have no problem with these incentive type contracts. they all should be heavily loaded with those so we don't pay a guy and then we get very little out of them after pay days. :cool:

    Here's another bonus;

    Incentives not likely to be achieved can be split over two seasons against the cap, versus incentives likely to be achieved must be accounted for in the current cap year.

    as the cap increases each year the incentives shouldn't be to hard to cover. if the base salaries are kept in check the incentives should equal out. trouble is usually the players will want both at the top. :cool:

    What about our last SB win?? We went two years without a playoff win before that.
    I promise I can give 5 examples of it not being a stepping stone to every 1 example you can give that says it is.
