    It was clear from early on the kid had something. Put it this way, he never did anything that ever put his making the team in jeopardy.

    Why not? Why is he a set piece of this team? Has he done anything to warrant being considered one of the top 53 players on this team? I don’t think so.

    He may very well be on the roster, but he is a long way behind Thomas on the depth chart at this point.

    I agree with this and with his checkered background I'm really happy about that. I was excited he signed here as an UDFA because he does have the physical tools.

    Way behind Thomas on the depth chart???? Do they both play The Buck??? Mack?? Which one?

    They would switch Bostic or Williams to the other role and put Thomas in his before they’d let Matakevich see a meaningful snap. Thomas is the 3rd ILB and will be taking meaningful snaps in real games as early as week 1. Matakevich is a question mark as to whether he even makes the team. If he does his role will be either ST only or game day inactive. It doesn’t matter if they play the same position or not... Thomas is ahead of him.
