A division win heading into a bye week.... just can’t describe how much better that feels than losing a gut wrencher heading into a bye week.

Heal up boys, and get ready to leave no doubt against Cleveland in 2 weeks! Don’t worry.... we’ll keep arguing about how good or bad you are.... or the coaches are.... or the league is.... or....

Oh and.... coming out of the bye week, we’ll all know how to spell James Conner....maybe....

I'd rather it come after the Browns game.

Nobody tell Ben it's a bye week. He is always rusty after sitting for a week.

no injuries today that I remember so that was good. Maybe we'll even see Burnett after the bye.

Usually it is good timing, but not this time IMO. We have just started some momentum and now we don`t play. Not as many injuries on average. Ben seems healed up.

Yep, got something to complain about even on the Bye, LOL.

I had a similar thought earlier. They're getting some momentum from this week and last week, and I hope the bye doesn't kill any of it.

Maybe it gives the FO more time to trade him.

The Chiefs have to be in a championship game to be considered a championship team, can A.Ried do it in the AFC?

I am really hoping they make a few moves this week. Peterson and Haasan Riddick in....Maybe Chickillo and Burns out. I would love to see Kelvin Benjamin in as well. Just for the size at WR...Buffalo is paying him 8 mill this year...but could work out a sign and trade....convert some of that $ to a sign on bonus ...they have lots of cap to deal with....so I bet if they willing to move him they would not mind paying something to get something...as he is a FA next year and no way he stays up there.

The sweetest bye is the one after winning the AFCCG and heading to the Super Bowl, even though it stinks to have to wait the extra week.

I think it's perfect timing. Most of these guys are nursing something and Fort is out, Burnett still hurt, Ben balky elbow, Haden nursing a hammy. JuJu had something going on too, I believe.

Get everyone healed and rested up and ready to roll for the second half of the season.

I remember the Dan Fouts Chargers and the Chiefs look like them a whole lot. Chiefs have the best offense in the NFL I think, but the worst defense among the contenders. The Chargers never won a Super Bowl and I don`t remember them getting close to one. With all the rule changes over the years, maybe it is more likely such an imbalanced team could get to the S.B. and have a chance.
