Oh, you mean like his blistering 19-26 for 222 yard performance earlier this year? When our defense was still learning its way and not nearly as good as it is now?

No, they don't have a better shot. That score will be around 30-10. Houston will never put up any points on them.

This may be the most outlandish thing you have ever said. Landry passed for 281 yards against NE and you think he's the worst ever. Yet Jacoby, who isn't horrible, lol, passes for a measly 103 yards. And then you further shine it on by entwining Jacobys game and Bradys game. Wow.

    Of course there aren't.

Jacoby was playing the Texans Defense not sure how LJ playing New England has anything to do with that ? But is Jacoby a better QB than LJ yes he is..New England beat the Texans with Blount not with the passing game ...If they stop the run the Texans can hold the Pats to like 17 points..Can the Texans score that much ? Maybe..

Varying opinions often spark debates across fellow forum members; throwing the subject of the topic off sometimes.

It happens. No one is questioning the level of play Dupree has shown but rather how well Ross has played..... something I am still intrigued about.

I know that, but you think Landry is horrible and he put up 281 yards against NE, thats a pretty good feat for a horrible QB against an incredibly difficult opponent. You don't actually think Jacoby had a tougher test going against Houston do you? Never mind that NE's defense is a lot better than they get credit for, Belichick is 10,000 times a better football mind than Obrien.

Double those 17 points and you'll be closer to the final score.

By the way, nice deflection on avoiding Bradys performance against us earlier in the year.

Texans beating the Patriots would be the biggest playoff upset of all time. If that happened... Steelers would annihilate the Chiefs and then host the AFC Championship game only to lose to the Texans like they did against the Chargers in January of '95. The more I think about it, I'd rather Steelers go to Foxborough and make a valiant attempt to get the monkey off their back once and for all.

Do not forget that New England is without the services of Jamie Collins either.

Nevermind the fact that Houston's offensive line is not as good as the others in the AFC playoff field. The fact is that, even with a good enough offensive line, Brock Osweiler is not the guy.

Add the fact that Whitney Mercelius and Jadeveon Clowney will already be nullified by Belichick's ability to take away your best assets and this game is going to be a slaughter.

That would be brutal because I really think they are going to the SB this year and that would be an agonizing defeat. :maintete:

That AFC Championship game in '95 scarred me for life. Losing to the Cowboys the next year in SBXXX was not nearly as devastating, IMO.

So let's round that 19 to 20 just for easy Math...So Brady had 20 throws for 220 yards and no picks and no fumbles... Most Teams throw it about 40 times on average had he done that he would have been well over 300 yards ..He didn't need to throw it that much..He had a first down average 10 yards per completion that is horrible Defense, not good Defense...Jacoby had a average of like 4.0 yards per completion....

That Chargers game brings back bad memories though I still think it would have been very difficult to defeat Debartalo's "cheat the salary cap" all-star 49'ers team.

The Texans held Aaron Rodgers to 209 yards passing ...They have the DB'S to guard NE...The point Spread is a joke...Vegas is wanting to get rich...

We were such a better team than the Chargers though, we just completely underperformed.

We had the defense and we've seen how much defenses make a difference in the SB. Would have been a much better game at the very least.

Seriously? The New England DEFENSE may score enough points to win by 16 Saturday with Brock at QB.
