    Devastating blow for the defence and for the team. I was hoping they’d come through the season without any more big injuries. God damn it.

    Contract year for Bud as well, on a personal level this is a massive setback for him. I really hope this is not true

    Motherfucker. I actually really like Highsmith but he’s not Bud. Unreal. This is as big of a loss, if not bigger, than Bush.

    I thought a lot of people were underrating the loss of Bush, but this is worse. The pass rush is what makes this defense special. It is also what made me think they at least had a shot if they had to play the Chiefs. Highsmith is a decent player, but he's not close to Dupree, at least not yet.

    Big loss for the Steelers. Not only must Highsmith step up but whomever their back up is because Watt only plays 3-4 plays then needs a break so Highsmith and his back up needs to step up? Just a crazy thought, but the guy we picked up from the Jets, any chance of him rotating outside with Highsmith and Watt?

    Highsmith gets his shot, we'll find out if he can play. I think for the few times he's been on the field, he's shown the NFL isn't too fast for him.

    Very unlikely.



    Avery Williamson is not what I constitute as a pass rusher. Alex Highsmith is the best available option I am afraid. Behind him is Ola and..... whomever else.
