Defense wins championships plus we aren't consistent enough

 

An Eagles fan buddy of mine was talking smack about the game the other day and I said "didn't Nick Foles also look like an all-pro for about a year there"? Not saying that Wentz is gonna do that but we generally are a little premature in our anointing these days.

 

For one, it's just way to early to decide if this team can make the Super Bowl. Second, in todays NFL, decent Defenses can win a championship. Let's see if this D can gel. But to unequivocally write off their chances based on a lousy week is too much.
