I think there is some pressure on Colbert and to a lesser degree, Tomlin, to produce a successful draft this year. The last few drafts have been characterized by mediocrity and underperformance. The pressure with Tomlin will be on coaching his players up. I don't think anybody mistakes him for Belichick in getting the most out of the talent on his roster.

That's news to me. It's amazing what a couple of quotes from Ben can create, suddenly we have a divided locker room and turned into the Jets :lolol:

We could've done much better last draft...we could've had Upshaw in the 2nd and we could've had osemele but we got adams and rainey

Huh? Did I read that right? Ok, lets let Ben go, we have no true replacement on the roster, so lets just plug in anyone.

Lets let go of a QB who got us to three Super Bowls winning two. Without Ben, NO Super Bowls. Ya, thats a great idea.

The lynchpin was Ben this year. He got injured. And really folks did you think he was healthy when he came back. The throws were not crisp. Ben doesn't get injured, playoffs.

But lets rip the heart out of the offense and start over. It will only be YEARS before we see another championship.
