KP didn't execute the offense that was designed around him. Is this simple enough for you?

Coaches who design offenses and call plays, whether they be head coaches or offensive coordinators, do affect the play of those quarterbacks. Some fans remain blind to that, too.

The flaws in that design contributed to the problem. Is that simple enough for you?

Why is BB struggling without Brady? Why did Noll struggle without the great players he had?

Why did the Rams fall off last season?

Coaches coach but players win games Bro. Maybe this simple statement is beyond your thought process?

Where is your film study? Please factor in that the 49ners had a "say" in regard to the result.

I watched the film. KP had open WR's. Show me the "MANY flaws" in play design when considering the 49ners players.

KP failed to make the NFL caliber throws. No biggie.

It's a teaching point for the coaches and learning experience for KP. We move on...

Asking a player to do something that they are not ready for is a recipe for disaster. I think this was Ben's point. Dial it back and try to call plays that he knows well or have high % for success. That would be doing Kenny a favor. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that's ben's point.

Like I said, you are the extreme in the other direction and you don’t know football.

Why have coaches at all, they don’t do anything. Oh wait, no, you said they do things like challenge plays. My bad.

Yeah James Harrison was making fun of him on their footbahlin session. I love that show, I feel like I'm sitting in the basement. It's authentic and no scripted rushing to a commercial, etc. I actually like the session with Tomlin as well. He wasn't soundbite Mike the whole time. Enjoyed his take on social media with his kids (I hate that garbage but get his point). Great show, however Ben isn't coming back and smart that he does. The Jets are where old QB's go to die!!

I never said Pickett didn't fail in that game. My point, one that is escaping you and many others, is that Canada's lack of creativity and poor play-calling make things more difficult for Pickett and the other players on offense. All I've been saying is that the argument that Canada wasn't also part of the problem last week is ignorant.

I think the offense was designed for KP as a Pitt Panther

KP didn't execute, but also, Canada didn't help him in any way. The two aren't mutually exclusive. They can both be factors. If Pickett isn't hitting timing routes or his deep ball is way off, then it's on Canada to adjust and give him something that will work.

There is a reason coaches come into the NFL, have no success and then are out of the NFL. Coaching matters a great deal. Of course players need to execute. A coach will not win games if players aren't executing, but a coach can make a players job easier or harder based on their game plan, calls, formations, etc. If a coach keeps putting his TE out wide and not blocking with his RB and the Oline is getting blown up, how effective do you think the QB is going to be? If it's nothing but 7 step drops with no short routes, the QB is going to be in for a long day. If there's no running game, how effective will play action be?

I can can go on for hours. Players have to execute. The best ones will usually execute better than the worst ones, but coaches can make it more or less likely that players will execute to the best of their ability.

Ok, so if our OC installs an offense that runs the ball 100% of the time, and our opponents put 11 in the box, stop it and beat our asses, that’s on the players 100% for not executing?
