I'm new here so I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I could use some input from seasoned Heinz field goers. I'm going for my first time and want to surprise my husband so don't want to ask him these questions. 1. Would tickets at the 50 yard line low level or west club seats be better? We would be going in winter. 2. If you think club seats they are open and part of the crowd correct? We've been to box suite seats before and while we are greatful for the experience and food it was closed off to the stadium and people were half watching the game. There was a lot of talking. Which I understand and am not bashing. I just want us to get the crowd experience but also have a great view and be comfortable. Thank you for your help!! Sorry if I'm being picky. I want this to be a great surprise. :)

Club Level seats are completely different than Suites. Suites are private rooms that hold 15-30 or so seats (depending on the size of the suite) that generally have their own catering, tv's inside the suites, etc. You usually have to know somebody who has access to a suite to get a ticket for one.

Club Level suites are generally just a level above the lower level seats that are generally more comfortable and have access to better and less crowded amenities.

I don't know that either is "better." It's all a matter of preference.

Club seats are pricy but worth it. Go west side row A is best between the 20's

If it's winter you can stay warm inside until kickoff then go out to your seat. Come back in at half time to get warm again. Better food. Shorter food and bathroom lines.

I have tickets for the Dallas game in section 239, have you ever been in that section? I've never sat in this level before. Are they pretty good? They're pretty much in the corner of the end zone and I was thinking maybe they don't have the best sight lines. I usually sit in the 500's and try to get as close to midfield as possible.

I sat right in front of that section (looks like you're in Club) for the prime time game against baltimore for Joe Greene's jersey retirement ceremony.

Not the best sight lines, obviously, but not the worst either. I've found there are pros and cons with most seats in a stadium. It's nice when the action is down at your end of the field, of course. Also easier to quickly get out of the stadium (especially for The Clipper) when you're in that section. If you're taking the boat or driving after the game, you'll be one of the first to leave the stadium.

I'm going to be a bit more upbeat and start with there are no bad seats in the stadium.

Anything in the 200's is very good.

    You will be happy.

Plus you will have a nice view of the city.

I have not sat there. I'm over in 232.

If I didn't have my seats I would buy yours before any seats outside of the 200's on your side of the field.

Sure, a private box on the 50 might be better, but not much.
