    work eth·ic
    wərk ˈeTHik/
    noun
    1. the principle that hard work is intrinsically virtuous or worthy of reward
Brady is well known for being the first one in the locker room in the am and the last one out.

Ben early on bragged about not taking the playbook home, and one look at him shows he is not a heavy workout guy. If Ben had Brady's work ethic, he would have been greater than Brady by a long shot.

    FUNNY THING IS

Joey Porter was the one who stepped up to his ass back then and told Ben about him being the last one in and the first one out.

I think we are all a little hard on Ben and I include myself in this. We know how damn good this guy can be and how good this offense can be and when it don't go as planned we over analyze some. I just went back and looked at the stats from this year and that is why I am saying this. Look at what Ben has done:

TD'S.... 6th with 29 ahead of Brady, Carr, Palmer, Eli, Stafford and Cousins
INT'S....Tied for 13th with Luck at 13 ahead of Eli, Rivers, Cam and Brees
COMP %..14th Ahead of Carr, Luck, Eli and Rivers
    YARDS....17th, that one surprised me
YRDS PER GM....9th which is a ton more like him.
SACKS...32nd, and this number is the key cause I feel nobody does a better job then Ben and keeping the play alive....NOBODY!

Stats are a hard way to prove a point cause you can make them look good however you want but when you look at these and then like all of us watch every game it gives it a little more understanding, imo. Oh yeah let's not forget the biggest thing that stats don't show/ Played with out Bell...maybe the NFL's best runner or at least right up there....for the first three games. His #2 WR and big play threat suspended for the whole year. Ben's #3 & 4 WR's out most of the year and his FA big play weapon out most of the year as well. Yes Brady misses WR's all the time I get it but look who they bring in guys with experience. Ben had guys off the practice squad spread all over.

I have been a guy who is hard on Ben but when you look at it there are other reasons at play here. Ben is running a top rated offense with a lot of guys that normally wouldn't see the field, Eli, Hamilton and Ayers. With that sais I stand by my comments to throw the quick pass this weekend and let AB and Bell do the work. Every once in a while toss one deep to keep the D guessing.

First off, you can shove the condescending BS straight up your ass. Secondly, unless someone is in the weight room and film room with Ben, a statement about what he does or doesn't do is pure opinion and conjecture and means nothing. Trying to pass something off as fact that is opinion is at best disingenuous and definitely short-sighted and small-minded. Thanks for sharing that about yourself.

Big Ben on the road: 59%, 238 YPG, 9 TD, 8 INT, 78.4 QB RTG.

Those are some "lol" numbers there

Speaking of Ben's stats, i thought he was throwing a lot of picks this year so i had to look it up. He has thrown 13 so far. 12.3 is his yearly average so really he's not that far off. One thing I noticed that i hadn't before debating on the AB tipped pass INT. And I wonder if its a trend. Ben was running straight forward on that pass trying to elude some of the rush and he threw it somewhat high as you would expect with the effects of momentum etc. Never really tallied Ben's INTs but I wonder how many of those occurred when he was running towards the LOS causing the pass to sail high.
