Sounds like gaslighting, or some kind of revisionist crap on the part of Ben...but, what do i know? I'd love to be wrong. Unfortunately, we'll probably never know for certain.

Ben was very clearly butt hurt when Mason was drafted..... Ben should really watch what he says, because his old quotes can very easily be dug up and thrown back at him

I saw that. Sounded truthful to me. :roflmao:

He said he disagreed with the pick but that had nothing to do with Mason. He said he thought the Steelers should have picked a position that would be immediately helpful as if there are any guarantees that a third round lineman or linebacker is going to come in and make an immediate impact.

What Ben fails to remember is that he’d made multiple comments about retiring and he was getting longer in the tooth so the Steelers had to plan for the future. I think he’s played a role in how Mason’s career has been botched up to this point.

Water under the bridge. What's done is done. Right now I feel we lucked out a bit, we can have some stability at QB going forward.

I don't know for sure whether Ben really hurt Mason's career. However, I think we can safely say based on the evidence he never went out of his way to help him. So far as I know, Rudolph has never really said anything about it. Probably best if he never does. No good can come from it for him.

Ben can simply ask Mason to come on his podcast, but I have a feeling that may never happen.

Ben had great talent but was all about Ben ,not the team .Hero ball is natural as a kid but not as a team playing adult . Wish Ben the best but he did overstay and it cost us . Ben the spotlight belongs on Mason now ,enjoy retirement .

Rudolph is 28....but has very little wear and tear. He's got the mileage of a 2nd year QB.

Passive aggressive Ben at his best. I always loved Mason, never had a problem with him. Loved all my teammates, Coach Todd too! If you think otherwise, You guys are reading too much into my comments. How dare you!
