The team needs to investigate an upgrade in padding (esp. from the knee, down) and/or other methods in order to reduce the issue of injuries that have plagued it the last several years before we can witness their full potential -in my opinion. It's an almost CERTAINTY our "adversarial opponents" will, covertly or blatantly, continue their attempt to injure the offense in order to gain advantage. This is my primary concern going forward.

These articles pretty much sum up my thoughts once the onside kick failed. I was disappointed, but proud of the way the team played. I too thought if only....Bell, Brown, Williams, Pouncey, no Blake...

Maybe some kind of extended, reinforced high-top shoe ? Or even some thicker, lace-up boot ? I remember it was almost impossible to get and ankle injury with those standard lace boots they issued in the military. Of course, it would have to be converted and altered for on-field / NFL use. Those exposed ankles (and knees) look scary out there with so many 300-400 pd guys floating around

I think before Gooddell gets done with NFL Commissioner gig they will be playing in giant swimming pools in order to avoid possible injury causing heavy contact.

Of coarse Brady will still be flailing in the water screaming shark, shark!
