.Mettenburger should start over Laundry. I have no confidence in Landry and I don't think he has confidence in himself..

We called this prior to the opener that we needed better QB backups.

So they were already going to lose versus the Pats according to the doomsayers and now they are mad because Ben is out with an injury? Seems to me that it shouldn't matter since they had already pegged it as a loss. THe Ravens just lost Suggs for the foreseeable future, have issues at WR and fired their OC last week the same team that needed some boneheaded play calling to squeak out a win against Vick. Life without Ben starts now people get used to it because you will be living that reality real soon.

I agree I would start him over Landry as well. I'm sure Tomlin will have Jones on a short leash early on in the Pats game if he stinks early on. You pretty much have too. This is too important of a game to hope and wait for Jones to play well.

While it has not begun right now... I believe dark days do lie ahead...

.... all the more reason that Colbert will have his hands full in two to three years.

The problem is, whenever Ben is injured the new QB is handcuffed it seems.
If the guy can run, let him takeoff!(Ravens game few years ago)
Haley can not find the strengths in the backup QB.

    Next man up?
    Not with this poor depth.

Can the Unabomber devise a run centric game plan? It doesn't take a remote cabin in Montana to figure out you have two very good backs in Bell and D Will that can chew the clock and keep us close. Defense certainly needs the help

Not sure nagging injuries will keep piling up and when you are that big arthritis begins to set in. I thought a three year time table but I'd be surprised if it was that now.

I just hope they get through this game without losing anymore players. Head into the by and regroup.

Someone wake me up so I can tell you all about this nightmare I'm having where we get whooped by the 1-4 Dolphins and lose Ben in the process.

The Steelers have known for several years that keeping a healthy Ben was paramount. It's also been obvious that Landry is not the answer, yet the Steelers seemed to be content with backup qb mediocrity. Add in all the other injuries, perhaps now we will better understand what it is like to be the Pittsburgh Browns.

This season is now toast. Twerk on that AB.

I would not assume that Ben will be back this season. A meniscus can be repaired or removed. The safest long-term treatment is to repair it and that's takes quite a while. It is the same situation that Derrick Rose went through.
