After this season pay Antonio Brown. Make him a Steeler for life.
    Also re-sign Decastro.

Honestly his drug habits aside, I need to see if that knee holds up, or if he can finish a season healthy again. That was a nasty injury he had.

Will the knee be an issue down the road? They want to use him as a receiver anyways... Why overpay a RB, just draft another one if it doesn't look like a good long term investment.

Add Shazier and Tuitt to the list as well. Shazier is likely Pro Bowl bound if he can stay healthy and Tuitt is going to explode like never before.

If im the Rooney's i pay bell. He said he wants "fifteen". I'd get three nickle bags and see if he bites.

My opinion of Bell has changed from a great player who made a mistake to a deeply flawed character who could have been great.

    Such a shame.

Should he go on to be suspended, I think all this does is make it easier to sign him. I think he would just be one strike away from a year suspension with one more failed test? That will seriously work against him during negotiations. Of course, there is always the possibility of a desperate stupid team overpaying for him but should the Steelers be interested in signing him to another contract, I like their chances.

two ways of looking at this BF. if we do sign him we may need to spend more money on a backup that will actually be on the field if he goes array again, or we just move on and sign or draft the new go to guy.

I wonder if Cleveland said the same about Gordon? Fan for life, but I can't stand this **** and it's only gonna get worse with these prick yourhs. If he's exonerated? SWEET, but he's still the dolt that put himself here.

True, Mac, if he is suspended, it wouldn't surprise me if they do draft someone and move on.

If he truly only missed the tests because of a cell phone number change and not because he was smoking again, then I still think the Steelers would be interested in signing him. The threat of the long suspension for the next failed/missed test will definitely drive his price down. Who knows tho, we might just move on. It's too bad because I really think LeVeon is a great kid and a great player. It would be tough to see a talent like him go

I have to agree with you. The situation LB is in should put the team in a good place to sign him to a team friendly contract. If someone else out there wants to overpay him so be it.

Unfortunately, the overpaying part happens all too regularly by teams desperate to do something, anything, even if it's wrong.

If he stays clean then maybe they will consider using the franchise tag on him in 2017.
